2024 Brisbane All Apprentices Reunion

In 2024, the Brisbane All Apprentices Reunion will relocate to the Geebung RSL.

The Geebung RSL is owned and run by the local sub-branch, so any monies spent at the venue go back to the veteran community. They have a reasonable size function area that can cater for 220 pax with a private bar, toilets and, I believe a verandah (although we didn't get a chance to look at it on the day as the room was in use).

Meal to be a Hot Buffet

In a change from tradition, lunch will now consist of a hot meal buffet which will make the meal faster and easier for all.  I have been assured that the food is excellent. There is a cafe area on site for those of you more suited to caffine than alcohol, and in good news for the latter, schooners are $7*

Easy Access

There is ample onsite parking for those of you willing to drive (please do not drink, then drive) and the Geebung railway station is a sixty second walk, door to door making for easy access.

1. Train travellers from Gold Coast catch the Airtrain to Eagle Junction, then change to the Redcliffe line train for two stops.
2. Brisbane city travellers catch the Redcliffe Line train to Geebung
3. Ipswich travellers change to the the Redcliffe Line train at Darra
4. Sunny Coast travellers change to the Redcliffe line at Petrie and head towards Brisbane to Geebung.

Radtechs, Wives and Partners Welcome

This event is for both Trades and Radio Apprentices. Wives and partners are welcome to attend.

And you can stay at a reasonable cost (Note that PINK is playing in Brisbane on the 17th and has extended her dates in the past. Reserve now!)

The Brisbane International Hotel at Virginia has offered us a pretty good deal on accomodation. We will be able to book into the hotel prior to the reunion.  The price for one night is currently $165.00 which is pretty reasonable, however if we book more than 10 rooms we will get an additional group booking discount. The hotel is a five minute bus ride from the club and the RSL will provide a courtesy bus to and from the accomodation. This will allow those of us wanting to extend our day and stay near to the RSL overnight on Saturday to do so at a reasonable price. Price decrease on 2023 event

Total cost for the event (excluding accomodation) which includes the lunchtime buffet, will be $35.00 which will include entry into the raffle and will provide enough additional funds to cover the website costs. Drinks are at your cost.
